London, United Kingdom — October 2025 — Fortray Global Services, a leading provider of IT education, services, and recruitment, took part in the Fortinet Partner Workshop hosted by the Fortinet Training Institute. The partner-focused workshop delivered intensive, hands-on sessions designed to deepen practical expertise in Fortinet technologies and to help partners better secure their customers’ digital environments.
During the session, participants engaged directly with Fortinet experts and explored live simulations addressing real-world cybersecurity challenges. The workshop provided valuable insights into Fortinet’s integrated security approach and how partners can leverage these innovations to strengthen their clients’ defenses against cyber threats.
“This workshop was a great opportunity to dive deeper into Fortinet’s cutting-edge technologies and gain practical exposure to the latest tools and frameworks,” said Farooq Zafar, Cybersecurity Consultant at Fortray. “The hands-on format and direct interaction with Fortinet engineers made it an incredibly enriching experience that will directly benefit our cybersecurity clients.”
Fortinet Security Fabric at Fortinet Partner Workshop
Fortinet Security Fabric is an open, integrated architecture that connects Fortinet solutions and third-party tools via Fabric Connectors into a single, cohesive security system. This approach delivers broad, real-time visibility across users, endpoints, applications, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure, enabling coordinated detection and automated responses to threats.
At the heart of the Fabric is FortiOS, the operating system that powers FortiGate and underpins Fabric automation, policy orchestration, and the hybrid-mesh firewall approach. FortiOS and the Fabric management tools (for example FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer) let administrators centrally manage policies, log events, and accelerate incident investigations across the entire estate.
Key Fabric components commonly used in integrated deployments include FortiGate (NGFW), FortiManager (centralized management), FortiAnalyzer (analytics and logging), FortiClient (endpoint visibility and enforcement), FortiSandbox (advanced threat analysis), FortiAP/FortiSwitch for secure access, and other Fabric Connectors that integrate cloud and third-party services. These elements share threat intelligence and telemetry so that a detection anywhere can trigger containment and remediation everywhere reducing dwell time and lateral movement.
For partners like Fortray, the tangible benefits of the Fortinet Security Fabric are twofold:
(1) the ability to design and operate integrated, multi-domain security architectures that scale from small offices to complex hybrid cloud and OT environments, and
(2) the opportunity to automate routine responses and accelerate incident resolution through shared telemetry and orchestration.
