London, United Kingdom – October 2025 — Fortray Global Services joined hundreds of global technology leaders, visionaries, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) at Pax8 Beyond EMEA 2025 in Amsterdam, a three-day conference that has become the epicentre for innovation in cloud, cybersecurity, and AI-powered managed services.

Held at the nHow Amsterdam RAI Hotel, this year’s event carried a bold theme: The Agentic Inflection Point. It explored how the next frontier of digital transformation will be led not by applications, but by autonomous agents intelligent systems capable of making decisions, learning continuously, and collaborating seamlessly with humans.

Key Insights and Highlights from Pax8 Beyond 2025

The event opened with an energetic keynote by Nick Heddy, President and COO of Pax8, who urged the industry to act with “a fierce urgency of now.” He emphasised that the age of passive service delivery is over, MSPs must evolve, innovate, and redefine their purpose to meet the rapid rise of Agentic AI.

Heddy also unveiled several Pax8 innovations aimed at empowering partners, including:

  • Opportunity Explorer – a data-driven tool for identifying growth potential
  • Pax8 Storefronts and Integrations Hub – simplifying automation and service delivery
  • Pax8 Academy and Guided Growth programs – focused on helping MSPs evolve into intelligence-driven organisations

Another highlight was Scott Chasin’s visionary keynote, “The Agentic Inflection Point,” which defined the transformation from Managed Service Providers to Managed Intelligence Providers (MIPs).
Chasin described a future where AI agents don’t just execute commands, they think, learn, and collaborate.

“The future won’t be app-based; it will be agent-based,” Chasin declared, introducing the Pax8 Agent Store, a new marketplace designed for monetising AI agents and automation services.

Microsoft’s Richard Ellis built on this narrative, discussing “Empowering SMBs with Agentic AI.” He outlined how Microsoft and its partners, such as Pax8 and forward-thinking MSPs like Fortray, are helping small and medium-sized businesses adopt AI responsibly through Copilot and secure data integration frameworks.

CrowdStrike’s Zeki Turdei delivered a powerful cybersecurity keynote titled “Cutting Through the AI Hype: What the Adversary Is Really Doing.” He revealed that modern attackers are using AI for social engineering, deepfakes, and adaptive intrusion, underscoring the need for proactive, intelligence-led cybersecurity.

Rounding off the day, Hendrika Willemse inspired attendees with a reminder that “wanting transformation is not the same as transforming.” True change, she stressed, happens through daily, deliberate innovation under pressure, a philosophy that deeply resonates with Fortray’s own culture of continuous evolution.

How Fortray Will Apply These Learnings

Fortray’s participation in Pax8 Beyond Amsterdam was about foresight. The event validated Fortray’s belief that the future of managed services lies in intelligent automation, AI-driven decision-making, and human-AI collaboration.

Armed with these insights, Fortray is enhancing its MSP division through:

  • Adoption of Agentic AI tools to automate complex processes and improve system uptime.
  • Transformation toward the MIP model, where Fortray doesn’t just manage IT, it manages intelligence.
  • Integration of AI in cybersecurity frameworks, inspired by CrowdStrike’s real-world insights on AI-driven threats.
  • Human-AI synergy, ensuring Fortray’s engineers and analysts continue to add empathy, context, and creativity to automated intelligence.

“The MIP model represents the next evolution of managed services,” said the Fortray leadership team.
“It’s no longer about maintaining infrastructure, it’s about orchestrating intelligence. Fortray is ready to lead that change.”

The Scope of the MIP (Managed Intelligence Provider) Model

The MIP model represents the merging of data, automation, and human understanding.
Unlike traditional MSPs that focus on maintenance and monitoring, MIPs deliver foresight anticipating system issues, detecting vulnerabilities before they emerge, and using data intelligence to drive business decisions.

Fortray envisions this as a long-term transformation of its managed services where every IT process is infused with intelligence, every response is predictive, and every client experience is personalised through AI.

A Vision Beyond the Conference

By attending Pax8 Beyond Amsterdam 2025, Fortray has positioned itself among a global community of innovators who are shaping the future of IT management.
The company will continue to embed these agentic and intelligence-driven frameworks into its services, helping clients achieve faster response times, enhanced security, and smarter digital growth.
